It's a good thing freedom lovers still hold the Arizona legislature. Otherwise, we would be in a world of hurt, just like our neighbors. Agriculture is GOING to be phased out in the next ten years. Radical policies are popping up all around AZ. Both CA and CO are starting NOW.

Agriculture and mining are embedded in the state seal and ingrained in our heritage. We must understand that these are the folks whom we are scavengers. Miners, ranchers, and loggers created these roads we love so much.

The next time your hiking that old trail or cruising that old back road, remember it was likely a miner, rancher, or logger, who created that path through the wilderness.

We want to say Thank You to all of the men and women in AZ Agriculture. Especially those pioneering families who have been grazing this state for over 150 years.

Thank you AZ Ranchers
For providing 63% of funding to the state trust.
For putting food on my plate.
For allowing me to enjoy your land.
For being tolerant when others tread on you.
For not locking the gates.
For being incredible stewards of the land.
For providing funding for public education.
For providing funding for state prisons.
For passing your traditional ways.
For preserving the western way of life.
For growing my favorite vegetables.
For contributing to the production of life-saving drugs.
For providing the safest, most reliable source of food.
And for leaving us these wonderful backroads.

There are many more things to list. Arizona Agriculture contributes more than most of us know. Please #thankarancher the next time you get a chance.

This is a great post. My wife works for a well-known ag equipment company that has locations throughout the west. In AZ, they are transitioning from ag to construction and it's happening quickly. It's taking longer to get away from densely populated areas because of the increased traffic and expanding metro boundaries. No water, increased pollution, more pavement generating higher temps. They're killing Arizona. I wrote to the editor of Arizona Highways magazine about the growth and said it's sad to see what's happening to Arizona. His doesn't agree with me. I think he called it exciting. That guy should not be in charge of Arizona's magazine.

@frankenhoe, all the big names in the agriculture industry are gearing up to phase out the agriculture business completely.

The Biden Administration is going after our farmers and ranchers like never before. You have to see this.πŸ‘‡
