Panning in the Bradshaws

I've seen people gold panning in a creek on the front way to Crown King. A previously mined or panned area can turn up gold many years later due to environmental factors. I'm not asking for your GPS digits ... just wondering if anyone is prospecting and making a buck.

I believe the American Mining Rights Association has a claim out there. Or it might be the GPAA.

Either way, pretty much all of that land is claimed, from what I hear.

I am standing up for what I believe is right.

@azbce I've been driving to Crown King for 35 years 12 of that living there and hardly ever see anyone panning..That includes Cleator also..Sure there's mining rights by GPAA & Roadrunners..

But you can't claim the whole bunch of area and never hardly go out there...To me thats a little unfair to the common guy.. They buy $2000 or more in equipment to go out and just have fun..Then someone comes and wants 50-200 bucks just for you to be there on State and Federal ground..

Just my 2 cents

Mike
