Well, the time has finally come.
Facebook has permanently deleted my account—erasing years of important advocacy work and severing connections with thousands of motorized access supporters across the country.
The ban was triggered after I posted a simple photo with the words:
“What an incredible time to be alive.”
Within seconds, I was logged out.
Shortly after, I received an email stating that my account had been suspended and that I had 180 days to appeal. But the appeal system requires logging in—and Facebook refuses to send the verification code to my email. In other words, I’m locked out for good.
That means over 11,000 followers on our Facebook page and another 11,000 members in our group are gone. Just like that.
In fact, Facebook has been throttling our reach for a long time. Despite our following, most posts barely reached a few hundred people. Meanwhile, the vast majority of our audience has already moved here, to AZBackroads.com, where our message is stronger than ever.
So here’s what we need from you:
Our fight for public land access continues, and it’s clearer than ever that our work poses a threat to those who want to lock us out. That only proves we’re on the right path.
Let’s keep pushing forward—stronger, louder, and completely uncensored.
