Used OEM GM TH400 automatic two-wheel drive transmission with u-joint yoke short tail shaft salvaged from various GM trucks and vans.
Each transmission is complete from tailshaft to pump and includes all internals, valve body, oil pan, pump, and tailshaft housing. Torque converter is not included.
Multiple units available from personal collection. The photos shown are a representative example — the actual transmission you receive may show normal cosmetic variations typical of used salvage parts.
What’s Included
Complete GM TH400 transmission assembly (tailshaft to pump), including all internals, valve body, oil pan, and tailshaft housing.
Torque converter is not included.
Condition & Inspection
The oil pan was removed and filter disassembled for an internal visual inspection on every unit. Transmissions are free of visible major defects — no cracks, external damage, burnt fluid odor, excessive metal shavings, water, rust, or significant debris in the pan. Units are degreased, drained, filters removed, and thoroughly inspected by qualified mechanic with over 25 years experience.
Internal components (clutches, bands, drums, pump, hard parts, etc.) have not been disassembled or internally tested. Their long-term condition is unknown.
Buyer assumes all risk of fitment, compatibility, and post-installation performance. Professional inspection and installation by a qualified mechanic is strongly recommended.
Important
This is a used salvage transmission sold as-is with no warranty and no returns. These are takeouts from salvaged vehicles that have been sitting for years. Visual inspection may not reveal internal damage or worn out parts. These transmissions may need new filters, gasket, seals, and possibly a full rebuilt.
Shipping to commercial locations in the lower 48 only.
Calculated shipping price at checkout is based on freight shipping to a commercial location with a loading dock, forklift, or other way to unload a pallet. Transmission will be shrink wrapped and strapped to a pallet.
Orders placed to residential addresses are subject to additional freight shipping fees. If we are unable to negotiate additional shipping fees, your order will be cancelled and a full refund issued.
