The Apache Trail
Arizona’s most iconic and scenic road is closed, and we need your help re-opening this national treasure.
Three years ago, the Woodbury Wildfire cause significant damage to the surrounding National Forest. Shortly after, a large tropical storm ripped through the area, causing a rockfall on Fish Creek Hill. Since that time, ADOT has indefinitely closed a 7 mile section between Fish Creek Hill to Apache Lake Marina.
Sedona
Sedona City Officials are pressuring the Coconino National Forest to prohibit dispersed camping and initiate a permit system on popular forest roads around Sedona.
Anti access groups are claiming that OHVs are destroying the natural landscape and hieroglyphs by kicking up large dust clouds. In addition to motorized restrictions, the City is attempting to regulate OHV businesses like adult sex shops.
